The Cobla Sant Jordi-Ciutat de Barcelona was founded in 1983 and in 1997 gained the title “Cobla Ciutat de Barcelona” [The City of Barcelona Cobla]. Since its foundation, the cobla has explored the vast repertoire available to such ensembles, and collaborated with artists such as Pascal Comelade, Roger Mas, Niño Josele and now with Clara. They appear on 3 tracks on her latest release “El Vol Dispers – Songs of Spanish Exile”.
